Disclaimer

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has implemented new rules that have a drastic effect on anyone doing business online. According to the new rules, if we create content for money making activities or received any free stuff that is associated with a blog post or page, we have to disclosed it. Failure to do so could mean fines of up to $11,000 per violation.

Here is our effort to comply with those regulations:

Ready?

the absolute most important point is …

We attempt to make money from everything we do and write here.

It’s intentional.  It pays the bills.
So consider clicking, tweeting, or buying.

Seriously.

To further drive this point home…in a sorta funny, sarcastic way.

If you’re reading anything on our site, you should assume the following:

We make money from every post or page we put on this site.
If we’re not making money from every post and page, then it was an oversight on our part
and it will be corrected soon.

  1. Every link on this blog is a paid link.
If it is not a paid link, then it was an oversight on our part and it will become a paid link soon.
  2. Every product we write about on this site, we probably got for free.
If we didn’t get it for free, then there was a miss-communication with the company that sent it
and we will be billing them for the cost so the product becomes free.
  3. We make money from every tweet we send out on Twitter.
If we didn’t make money on the tweet, then it was an oversight on our part and it will be corrected soon.
  4. If you email us, all of the information in your email is ours to do with as we please,
such as exploit for financial profit, use as blackmail, or use as a quote on our site.
  5. Any T-shirts you see us wear at trade shows and events. we get paid to wear them.
If we didn’t get paid to wear them, then it means we ran out of paid shirts and had to wear a free one.
In which case, we will go to the company that gave us the free shirt and ask them to sponsor our wearing it.
  6. If something on the Internet is making a lot of money, you can bet we will be in on it.
If we’re not in on it, then it was an oversight on our part and it will be corrected soon.
  7. Just because some clients received tremendous value and got great results doesn’t mean you will.
Testimonials are obviously from very satisfied clients, however, your individual results may vary.

Just because we get paid to blog, tweet, wear T-shirts, etc. does NOT mean we will give you or your company a positive review, blog post or endorsement. As a matter of fact, chances are pretty high that we just might dis you.

Hopefully, the above statement clears up any misunderstanding you may have about our blog posts or Twitter tweets. If you have any questions, you can contact me at my contact page.  Just remember what I said about emails.
